Save it for a rainy day...

Hey guysssssss, just a random quick post! I'll try not to ramble too much! :D
So, if you're a fellow chum from the UK you will know how crazy the weather is ATM! one day its hot with insane wind, the next it's pissing it down for the whole day...and today was one of those days, I was getting ready for work and even though I strangely find the rain quite pretty, covering my garden. I just didn't feel like wearing anything that said 'SUMMER IS HERE'! But then why would I? It was damp and wet outside :( anywaaaaaaay, I thought bright colours isn't just for those days where it's hot, and because wearing next to nothing in bright clothing wasn't practical, I thought why not wear a bright lipstick? It instantly conveys summer and brightens up you're make-up instantly! So along with my winter coat and umbrella, I complimented my outfit with a bright orange lipstick by Barry M.

Fingers crossed for some good weather!
Lighten up your mood and outfit with a bright lipstick! Or if you're not into lipsticks, maybe try a pop of colour on your eyes using shadow or an eye pencil? Orrrrrrr if you just don't wanna wear much make - up and the weather is crap, covering up your cute outfit with a stupid coat then try a bright handbag? bang on trend :)

As I said I didn't feel like being summery and colourful today! So I stuck with neutral tones and black in my outfit. Maybe not such a good idea wearing dolly shoes in the rain. SCHOOL BOY ERROR.

Thanks for reading, mwah! Love Hannah xoxo

Night out make-up look coming soon...

I can't live without...

Excuse the orange hands, (fake tan gone wrong...but I'll tell you about that tomorrow) *cringeeeee - it's happened to all of us right? (I hope)

Anyway, a product I can't live without right now is this powder by Illamasqua called disobey. I have used it on myself and others and feel it suits most skin tones, even if you're quite pale. With a light hand, can work wonders as a warm blush or used as a contour below the cheek bones, sides of nose etc. perfect for contouring as the product is completely matte. I normally wouldn't splash out on high end products, but when joining university we had to purchase a make - up kit for the course to start us off and this product was within the kit alongside other illamasqua make - up, so I was excited to try out their products! And I must say literally most of their products are so pigmented and lasts ages!
I loved it so much, I purchased it for my own make - up bag!
I feel it is best applied with a small contour brush, in and upwards and downwards action and then blended out with circular motions. (See my previous video of how I achieve a smokey eye, and you can see how I apply the powder.)
If you're looking for a matte bronzer/contour powder this is perfect for you! Amazing if you want a bit of colour to you're skin without looking too orange, as I feel some bronzers are a bit too warm and sparkly!

Let me know if you've tried it and what you think! :)

Me, Myself and I

Sometimes you just need a bit of 'me' time! I found myself this evening just chilling in my room with a magazine, music and my phone, I mean who can't live without their phone these days? Anyway, I was reading this months ELLE magazine and was intrigued by Miley Cyrus' hair these days...not sure I'm a fan. But the shoot within ELLE was lush and felt really inspired by the black and white shot of her. Having time to yourself, I feel can be really refreshing...I needed a bit of a relaxing bank holiday monday, seeing as I went and had a bit too many glasses of vodka and lemonade (don't judge!) We all love a cheeky beverage or two or three.....Well I'm a university student, so anyone who goes to uni, and experienced the night life and freshers week, you will know what I mean!

This is my first post, where I am literally just babbling but sometimes I quite like reading those sort of posts. Complimented by a photo, I feel really inspires me! I love a bit of photography and love experimenting with different angles and lighting, but I'm no expert!
Sometimes you don't even need to say much, just a photo can tell a story and the best thing about that is that everyone's story will be different.

After moving out from my home to go to university, I had to start a whole new life with people I didn't know, as nerve racking as it was, it was literally the best thing I have ever done. As I went to university away from my home town I got to stay in halls of residence for a 8 months and one of the hardest things was trying to make my room in halls feel homely! Once my clothes were on the floor and make - up all over my desk...I'm pretty sure I felt right at home. Anyway, after moving back home, I sadly got kicked out my old bedroom! (the cheek of it) my brother moved back home blah blah blah. However, the best thing about moving into another room was that I got to redecorate and make it 'me'. There's nothing better than being in the comfort of your own room with the essence and style of you!
I love seeing the style and decoration of other peoples rooms and homes, so thought it would be a good idea to wack out the old camera and take some snaps of my best side. When it comes to my room, I like it to be quite simple. But I still find myself going back to that hot pink colour that I loved as a kid...

So anyway, maybe tomorrow night you should make time for yourself, Whether it's having a bath, going for a walk or simply just chillin in your room.

I love taking snaps of random things that I think look pretty and for a moment pretend I'm a photographer by editing them on instagram...We all do it! (I think) Follow me on instagram for more pics! - kempsxox

Happy me time!
