Glamorous Christmas/New Years Eve Party Makeup

Hi guys!!!!! ITS NEARLY CHRISTMAS <3 Grab your glitter and start of your festive season and New Year with a glamorous make-up look! Change it up from your usual night out look by adding glitter! I went completely out of my comfort zone with this look as I typically will always go for a brown smokey eye, however thought what better way to get out my glitter than at Christmas time! When are you really gonna use your glittery/sparkly products ey? I used a loose glitter from Barry M - Their choice of glitter dusts are amazing! http://www.barrym.com/products/eyes/shadows/dazzle-dust.html
Adding glitter can completely change your look and add amazing dimension to the eyes!

Check out my tutorial above! Perfect for a Christmas party or New Years eve! Hope you like!!!

Kourtney Kardashian Inspired Makeup

Hi girls, so like a lot of you...maybe not all! But I am a little obsessed with the Kardashians! And as you all know, their make-up is ALWAYS flawless! The Kardashian sister's always look so put together and immaculate!
I decided to create a look inspired by the eldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney. Her style is very elegant and stylish, always a little more daring than Kim and Khloe! I was strongly inspired to create one of her  make-up looks as I was loving the way she was wearing her eye shadow recently, Kourtney normally goes for brown smokey eyes, especially created quite a thick smoked out line under her bottom lash line, which looks so sultry and effortless! So then flicking through various images of her, I combined a few of her make-up looks together and came up with my own! Whilst still focusing on using the brown tones around the eye.

To see what I came up with, watch my tutorial on YouTube! Hope you like :)
Below are various inspirational images which I took reference from whilst creating the make - up :)
Perfect for a night out! Or tone it down a little with less eyeliner and just mascara!

Have a cheeky look and don't forget to subscribe to see more! thanks :)

Make-up Tutorial

So, it's been a while! But through inspiration from writing my blog, I decided to start making YouTube videos! As me being me, well...I'm just not that great at writing ha! Some people just have it... So, I thought why not create my make-up tutorials on camera! My channel is slowly growing and I am enjoying it so much! However many people watch my videos and subscribe, it literally makes me so happy at the fact I am helping at least some one out there! The main thing is that I am doing something I love and whether it goes some where or not, that is the mean thing!

It just makes me realise that you have to follow your dream...As clique as it sounds, it is so true! Never give up and set yourself goals, try new things, do the impossible and make it possible and hard work pays off!

Speaking of trying new things, I just created a new make-up tutorial and seeing as I have started to upload them to YouTube and a few are starting to request videos, I thought I best come up with some new ideas! As before I would wear the same make-up throughout the day then wear a dramatic eye on a night out but I wouldn't really change it up! So, I thought for this tutorial I would try out some new colours! I just recently bought the 'Sleek Makeup' palette in 'Show Stopper' and the colours are gorgeous and SO pigmented! I ended up on deciding to use the plum colour as I felt it would compliment most eye colours!
To see my tutorial on how I created this look, then check out my video :)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9eSX8nDTDg

This look is so easy to do and can be created with any colours! I feel as long as you use a light tone shadow all over the lid, you could go for any colour through the crease and then if you wanted to dramtise it even more, just add a darker shade of whatever colour you chose!
Hope this helps!

Let me know what you think and don't forget to subscribe to see more, I'd be so grateful.

Thank you so much!!

Quick Night Out Look

Sometimes, it's because your night out was planned last minute or you've had a long day orrrrr.....you're just a bit lazy. Well if thats the problem, I created an eye look that is pretty quick and easy however still looks dramatic and glamorous!

All I used was the Maybelline colour tattoo in 'Pink Gold' all over the lid and inner corner for a pretty shimmer, and then for a strong contrast I applied Avons Super Shock Gel Eyeliner roughly along the lash line and quickly smudged it out using an angled brush, It's up to you how far you take the liner! I created a slight flick. I then just kept applying the eye liner and smudging and so on... it's all about blending and layering, your eye make - up will last longer! Lastly for the shadow, I applied the colour tattoo on my bottom lash line, smudging it across, also using a slight hint of light brown eye shadow. Then adding the liner on top, again smudging it slightly half way across.

Finally! apply mascara and if you want, use false lashes! They really make a difference and dramatise your eyes instantly. Fake lashes aren't all about being 'fake' a lot of people seem to think if you wear them you can instantly look fake and unnatural. But you can get so many different shapes, sizes, lengths that look sooooo natural but still give you that little bit of lift and thickness.

MAYBELLINE COLOUR TATTOO
Just a quick review! This was my first time using this product and I am so so happy with it, I only wore it on it's on and it really does justify the name 'colour tattoo'. After creating this look I went to work, came home and wore it all day and pretty much all evening and it literally did not budge! :D Definitely gonna try the other colours! :D

If you wanna see how I created this quick night out 'cat eye' look then please check out my video on YouTube :) and subscribe if you want to see more. I'd be so grateful and it would literally make my day! THANK YOU.

So since its finally been hot here in the UK. I decided to do a bronzed eye makeup look. It was a last minute decision so I could fake it and make myself look as sun kissed as I would of liked but hey ho the eye look is perfect for a summers evening complimented by a lovely tan. But would still look great for all those fair skinned! I've found bronze, warm tones really make blue/green eyes pop. Please check out my video on my YouTube channel and subscribe, it would literally make my day! Thank you!!!

Save it for a rainy day...

Hey guysssssss, just a random quick post! I'll try not to ramble too much! :D
So, if you're a fellow chum from the UK you will know how crazy the weather is ATM! one day its hot with insane wind, the next it's pissing it down for the whole day...and today was one of those days, I was getting ready for work and even though I strangely find the rain quite pretty, covering my garden. I just didn't feel like wearing anything that said 'SUMMER IS HERE'! But then why would I? It was damp and wet outside :( anywaaaaaaay, I thought bright colours isn't just for those days where it's hot, and because wearing next to nothing in bright clothing wasn't practical, I thought why not wear a bright lipstick? It instantly conveys summer and brightens up you're make-up instantly! So along with my winter coat and umbrella, I complimented my outfit with a bright orange lipstick by Barry M.

Fingers crossed for some good weather!
Lighten up your mood and outfit with a bright lipstick! Or if you're not into lipsticks, maybe try a pop of colour on your eyes using shadow or an eye pencil? Orrrrrrr if you just don't wanna wear much make - up and the weather is crap, covering up your cute outfit with a stupid coat then try a bright handbag? bang on trend :)

As I said I didn't feel like being summery and colourful today! So I stuck with neutral tones and black in my outfit. Maybe not such a good idea wearing dolly shoes in the rain. SCHOOL BOY ERROR.

Thanks for reading, mwah! Love Hannah xoxo

Night out make-up look coming soon...

I can't live without...

Excuse the orange hands, (fake tan gone wrong...but I'll tell you about that tomorrow) *cringeeeee - it's happened to all of us right? (I hope)

Anyway, a product I can't live without right now is this powder by Illamasqua called disobey. I have used it on myself and others and feel it suits most skin tones, even if you're quite pale. With a light hand, can work wonders as a warm blush or used as a contour below the cheek bones, sides of nose etc. perfect for contouring as the product is completely matte. I normally wouldn't splash out on high end products, but when joining university we had to purchase a make - up kit for the course to start us off and this product was within the kit alongside other illamasqua make - up, so I was excited to try out their products! And I must say literally most of their products are so pigmented and lasts ages!
I loved it so much, I purchased it for my own make - up bag!
I feel it is best applied with a small contour brush, in and upwards and downwards action and then blended out with circular motions. (See my previous video of how I achieve a smokey eye, and you can see how I apply the powder.)
If you're looking for a matte bronzer/contour powder this is perfect for you! Amazing if you want a bit of colour to you're skin without looking too orange, as I feel some bronzers are a bit too warm and sparkly!

Let me know if you've tried it and what you think! :)

Me, Myself and I

Sometimes you just need a bit of 'me' time! I found myself this evening just chilling in my room with a magazine, music and my phone, I mean who can't live without their phone these days? Anyway, I was reading this months ELLE magazine and was intrigued by Miley Cyrus' hair these days...not sure I'm a fan. But the shoot within ELLE was lush and felt really inspired by the black and white shot of her. Having time to yourself, I feel can be really refreshing...I needed a bit of a relaxing bank holiday monday, seeing as I went and had a bit too many glasses of vodka and lemonade (don't judge!) We all love a cheeky beverage or two or three.....Well I'm a university student, so anyone who goes to uni, and experienced the night life and freshers week, you will know what I mean!

This is my first post, where I am literally just babbling but sometimes I quite like reading those sort of posts. Complimented by a photo, I feel really inspires me! I love a bit of photography and love experimenting with different angles and lighting, but I'm no expert!
Sometimes you don't even need to say much, just a photo can tell a story and the best thing about that is that everyone's story will be different.

After moving out from my home to go to university, I had to start a whole new life with people I didn't know, as nerve racking as it was, it was literally the best thing I have ever done. As I went to university away from my home town I got to stay in halls of residence for a 8 months and one of the hardest things was trying to make my room in halls feel homely! Once my clothes were on the floor and make - up all over my desk...I'm pretty sure I felt right at home. Anyway, after moving back home, I sadly got kicked out my old bedroom! (the cheek of it) my brother moved back home blah blah blah. However, the best thing about moving into another room was that I got to redecorate and make it 'me'. There's nothing better than being in the comfort of your own room with the essence and style of you!
I love seeing the style and decoration of other peoples rooms and homes, so thought it would be a good idea to wack out the old camera and take some snaps of my best side. When it comes to my room, I like it to be quite simple. But I still find myself going back to that hot pink colour that I loved as a kid...

So anyway, maybe tomorrow night you should make time for yourself, Whether it's having a bath, going for a walk or simply just chillin in your room.

I love taking snaps of random things that I think look pretty and for a moment pretend I'm a photographer by editing them on instagram...We all do it! (I think) Follow me on instagram for more pics! - kempsxox

Happy me time!
